What are the different sticker rarity types?

Stickers come in four varieties: Paper (most common), Holo (holographic), Foil (reflective), and Gold (rarest). Each variant has different appearance and value. Gold stickers are the rarest and most expensive, while paper stickers are the most accessible.

Can I remove stickers from weapons?

Once applied to a weapon skin, stickers are permanent and cannot be removed. You can purchase a Sticker Capsule to obtain stickers, or you can apply multiple stickers to different weapon skins. Be careful when applying stickers to expensive weapon skins!

How often are new sticker capsules released?

New capsules are typically released during major tournaments. The CS2 Major happens every few months, and each event introduces new tournament and team stickers. Community operations also release special capsules periodically.

Which stickers are the best investment?

Older major stickers, especially from Katowice and Boston majors, have historically appreciated significantly. Limited rarity variants (especially Gold and Holo) tend to hold and gain value better than common stickers. Focus on stickers from discontinued operations for long-term appreciation potential.

How much do stickers cost?

Sticker capsules cost approximately $2.50 USD each and contain a random sticker from the collection. Individual stickers can be purchased from the Steam Community Market, and prices vary dramatically based on rarity, condition, and age. Rare variants can cost hundreds of dollars.

Are there signed stickers from pro players?

Yes! Some tournaments release special autographed stickers signed by professional players. These are extremely valuable and rare, often commanding premium prices on the secondary market. Signed stickers from legendary players or legendary teams are the most expensive.

What's the difference between Paper and Holo stickers?

Paper stickers have a matte finish and are the most common. Holo (holographic) stickers have a rainbow reflective effect and are rarer. Foil stickers have a metallic finish, and Gold stickers are the rarest with an exclusive gold finish. Rarity increases from Paper → Holo → Foil → Gold in terms of both rarity and value.

Can sticker prices drop?

While most rare stickers appreciate over time, prices can fluctuate based on market conditions and player sentiment. However, extremely old and rare stickers tend to have price floors due to collector demand. Always research market trends before investing in stickers.
